Join Cari for an immersive weekend of sound and vibration.  Learn about sound healing, healing instruments  and how to make sound a part of your healing journey.

Here is what to expect during our retreat:

Yoga

Three Hatha yoga classes offered by the Himalayan Institute throughout the weekend.

Sound Baths

Relax deeply with immersive, vibrational sound baths, combining different healing sounds and healing  instruments, such as crystal and brass singing bowls, tuning forks, chimes, flutes and gongs. If weather permits, we will also have a sound bath in nature!

Introduction To Sound Healing Workshop

Learn the basic principles of sound healing. Be introduced to the history of sound and how it is used for  healing in different cultures. Explore vibration and the impact on the body and mind. Learn how to trigger the relaxation response. Experience various instruments used in sound healing. Learn how to incorporate simple sound healing practices into your daily life.

Drum Workshop

Learn to use drums as a healing instrument, then paint your own unique art on a frame drum. No worries if you don’t have drawing skills, designs will be available for you to trace. Feel free to bring your own designs that inspire you, and will fit into a 12” circle. Step by step guidance on how to transfer designs onto the drum. Once transferred onto the drum, you can paint away! Drums and painting materials will be provided.  No art skills needed!

Fire Ceremony with Drum Circle

We will gather together in a fun, supportive environment around the fire as we play our drums. Enjoy the  connection of our community as we share rhythm.

10:00-12:30 Drum painting workshop

Open studio: Paint, play, explore

7:30-9:30  Fire & Drum Circle (Weather permitting)

9:00-10:00  Balancing the Chakras with sound

10:00-11:30  Sound healing practice session

11:30-12:30  Integration and closing circle

12:30 -1:30  Lunch & departures
